Expansion in Difficult Climate

Russell Harris, current Chairman of the Information Destruction section of the BSIA (British Security Industry Association) has recently expanded his operation to include a static processing plant. 

They have been supplied with a Shred Tech ST-35 Static Shredder, which has many unique features including a cast aluminium body and twin hexagonal shafts with independent knives and spacers. 

With a throughput of 3 tons an hour, the paper is shredded down to the BSIA European approved standard of 16mm.   “We have an excellent relationship with Global Recycling, who has supplied us with a number of Mobile Document Shredders over the last five years, and we are delighted with the performance that this is giving us and the consistency of the end product” commented Russell Harris of Shred Secure Ltd. 

The ST-35 shredder is capable of not only processing paper but hard drives, plastic, carpets, mattresses and much more.
