
Simon Franklin of Shred Station is on course to hit turnover of £1m within 2 years, and has now taken delivery of his 3rd Mobile Document Shredder, supplied by Global Recycling Solutions Ltd.
The Shred-Tech ST-25 shredder is able to process material from 1800 to 2.2 tons per hour, at the new BS EN15713:2009 standard. The shredder has replaceable knives and spacers, which enables it to process not only paper but uniforms, hard drives, CD’s etc.
Simon set up Shred Station in 2008 – offering clients the option of having waste paper with confidential data shredded on their premises in tailor-made vans. The Norwich based firm, which processes about 200 tons of shredded paper a month, has also increased its workforce from seven to nine people in the last year.
