Wayne Cox, Recycling Supervisor at Yorwaste Ltd has been processing confidential waste for over 2 years at their Seamer depot, and with the expansion of their service there was a need to replace their existing Shredder to cope with the increase in tonnage. 

Global Recycling has supplied Yorwaste with other machines over the past few years, including a Bandit Beast Recycler along with Repair and Maintenance contracts for some of their plant and machinery. 

“We approached Global Recycling as we had a budget price in mind to provide us with a Static Shredder and infeed/outfeed conveyors, capable of processing up to 1.5 tons per hour.   They were the only company that understood our needs and were able to quote us for a complete package, to provide a true turnkey installation on time and within budget” commented Wayne Cox. 

The machine supplied by Global Recycling is an ST-25 Electric Shredder with 25hp motor, cutting chamber - 698mm x 406mm, conveyors - 3m x 600mm with hopper and stands and 16mm high security knives, enabling the shredded material to meet the BSIA Standard.
